Bringing Columbus Closer: Join Us in Celebrating Our Community

At Columbus Living, we’re more than just a magazine—we’re a celebration of you. Together, we’ve created a vibrant platform to showcase the beauty, resilience, and heart of our community. It’s an honor and a privilege to share your inspiring stories, bringing neighbors closer and fostering a sense of unity that makes Columbus truly special.

Since February 2022, when we delivered our premier issue featuring the Kiesler family, our mission has been clear: to strengthen our community through positive, uplifting stories. With every issue, we’ve shared tales that inspire and connect us, turning everyday moments into something extraordinary.

In 2023, we expanded beyond print with a digital experience, ensuring everyone—no matter where they are—can be part of the Columbus Living journey. From right here in Bartholomew County to readers across the globe, our humble hometown shines as a beacon of hope and positivity.

Looking Back and Moving Forward

This year, we added even more ways to stay connected. Our monthly email newsletter, a mobile-friendly platform, and our Columbus Living app (available at app.columbusliving.social) keep our community spirit alive and accessible.

But 2025 is where things get exciting. Here's what's in store:

  • More Content: We’re adding sections like youth sports, culture and entertainment, kids’ pages, charity spotlights, local history, and restaurant reviews.

  • Native Mobile App: A dedicated community social media app will bring Columbus residents together with local content, events, and messaging—all with a positive, uplifting focus.

  • Local Merch: Our upcoming online gift, apparel, and coffee shop will feature locally designed clothing and branded coffee roasted by our friends at Sojourn Coffee.

  • Celebrating Two Years: In February, we’ll host an anniversary event to honor two years of building community together.

Join the Movement—Become a Columbus Living Ambassador

We’re inviting you to play an active role in shaping the future of Columbus Living. Our ambassadors will contribute regular content—whether it’s restaurant reviews, recipes, or event coverage. Ambassadors will also represent the magazine at community events like the farmers market, downtown festivals, and more. Email [email protected] to apply and become a voice for your community!

Empowering Future Generations

We’re thrilled to announce plans for a scholarship program for Bartholomew County students. Starting in the 2025/2026 school year, students can submit articles for publication, with a panel selecting a $500 prize winner. Every submission gets published—a valuable addition to college resumes. Why wait? Encourage young writers to start submitting their stories with photos today at app.columbusliving.social.

Help Us Grow in 2025

Your stories are the heart of this magazine. Submit articles, photos, and ideas about clubs, hobbies, recipes, charities, and more. Let’s keep it positive—no politics here! Share your content anytime at app.columbusliving.social.

A Call for Sponsors

To make our 2025 vision a reality, we need 12 new sponsors by January. Sponsorship doesn’t just fund the magazine—it’s a meaningful way for local businesses to give back and connect with the community. If you know a business that shares our passion, introduce them to our publisher, Jeff Goldman, at [email protected]. And if you enjoy Columbus Living, take a moment to thank our sponsors—it lets them know their support matters!

Together, We Shine

Our mission is simple yet profound: Bring Columbus closer together. Join us in creating a future where Columbus Living isn’t just a magazine—it’s a movement to cultivate strong communities. Let’s take this journey to the next level—together.
